Submarine Toolbox Testing

SEIKOWAVE TESTS PROTOTYPE UNDERWATER 3D IMAGING CAMERA, “SUBMARINE 3D TOOLBOX” IN LAUREL LAKE, KENTUCKY.
The newly developed underwater 3D imaging camera was recently tested by a third party to depths of 120 meters.
In anticipation of a major oil and gas company conducting further tests in the Atlantic Ocean, Seikowave had divers take images and perform non-destructive testing of pipe samples at the bottom of Laurel Lake in Kentucky. The prototype system achieved similar results to the land based system, 3D Toolbox, with repeatability of .002”.
The video documents divers using Submarine 3D Toolbox while performing non-destructive testing on a pipe sample with known defects. The video labeled Submarine Testing can be found on our Product Support page.
