A Japanese chemical plant is using the 3D Toolbox to inspect difficult to reach areas assuring plant safety.
Pipes, tanks, valves, and other infractructure in chemical plants are often located in areas that are difficult to reach. In addition to the limited access, the limited working space can make 3D imaging difficult. The optional optics for the 3D Toolbox enable a close working distance of 200mm (8"). This allows field technicians to make accurate measurements in very close quarters.
